It comes standard with a collet chuck that allows you to choose the thickness of the wire for the vibration rod.
The MT-160 modal exciter is compact and lightweight, with a long stroke and a light drive mechanism, making it ideal for all modal structural analysis experiments. The standard clamping collet chuck equipped with this exciter can accommodate drive rods and wires of any diameter. Furthermore, the through-hole in the main drive unit is useful for modal excitation rods and wire excitation in a pre-tensioned state. With the standard trunnion base, the exciter can be bolted down or suspended using fixtures, allowing it to be oriented in any direction for excitation.
